ABOUT
THE TREMOR OF TIME explores the perception of time through fragile textures and restrained gestures. Scored for accordion, percussion, and double bass, the piece focuses on subtle resonances, bow pressure, and friction-based sounds. Rather than marking time through rhythm, the music stretches and distorts it, inviting the listener to tune into the smallest sonic shifts. Soft, delicate sounds hover at the edge of audibility, shaping a space defined by stillness and tension. A single, sudden climax interrupts this suspended flow, heightening contrast and altering the sense of time that surrounds it.
